Discover Nam Cat Tien - The Park is varied and made up of seasonally flooding grassland and swamp forest. And also explore Bach Ma in the central of Vietnam, Bach Ma is habitat to diverse fauna and flora species and native wildlife includes rarities such as the Douc Langur. And finally the tour will take you to roof of Indochina where you can observe the life of ethnic minority in Vietnam.

DAY 1  SAIGON ARRIVAL  

Welcome to Saigon. Airport pick up and transfer to your hotel for relaxing. Overnight in Saigon.
DAY 2 SAIGON – NAM CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast and start the tour at 08:30. Upon arrival at the National Park, take a 10km drive and 5km trek through the jungle to Bau Sau (Crocodile Lake). Check in. In the afternoon, visit Bau Sau, take a chance to admire the majestic beauty of ancient cedars, and relish the scenery tops poetic and lyrical blend created by Bau Sau water garden. Hop onto a bicycle & explore the village roads and lanes. Visit the silk farm and rice fields. The village folks are friendly, and their children are ever so happy to greet you with their open heart and sunny smiles. Ride through fruit orchards and undulate through hills & slopes. Especially, off chambered terrain or bombing down steep downhill chasms could be your playground for the day.

DAY 3 NAM CAT TIEN TREKKING TO RAINFORST

Breakfast and start trekking into the rainforest. Have lunch.Visit Dao Tien (Monkey Island) which is dedicated to the rehabilitation of rescue primates & loris from the illegal wildlife trade. Founded by the Endangered Asian Species Trust (EAST) in collaboration with Monkey World in the UK & with the support of Cat Tien National Park, Dao Tien is where the volunteers nurse the rescued animals to full health and then release them back into the wild.

DAY 4 BACK TO SAIGON – FLY TO HUE  

Breakfast and drive back to Saigon for flight to Hue. Arrive Hue, check-in hotel and relax. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 5 HUE – BACK MA – TREKS AND MOUNTAIN ASCENT IN NATIONAL PARK   

From Hue, an early morning drive by jeep deep into the heart of Vietnam’s north-central countryside takes us to Bach Ma National Park. Originally a French colonial-era hill station, Bach Ma’s protected 22,031ha (54439ac) of parklands stretches from coastal plains to soaring mountains. One of Indochina’s key bio-diversity centres, Bach Ma is habitat to diverse fauna and flora species and native wildlife includes rarities such as the Douc Langur. A local forestry expert, whose in-depth knowledge and passion for Bach Ma has endured for two decades, leads us on a three-hour trek through sub-tropical rainforest. We reach magnificent Ngu Ho Lake and Do Quyen waterfall and later, ascend Bach Ma’s highest mountain, 1,450m (4,757ft) above sea level, for breathtaking views.

DAY 6 DRIVE TO HOI AN – BIKE AND KAYAKING

Take a short drive to Hoi An. Then doing bike tour around Acient Town and kayaking in the golden time. Overnight in Hoi An. It is a good relaxing day.

DAY 7 FLY TO HANOI – NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA

Transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Welcome to Hanoi. Welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel for relaxing. We will take you to Sapa via overnight on train (private cabin for your group).

DAY 8 SAPA, EXPLORE MINORITY VILLAGES (LAO CHAI & TA VAN)

Arrival Lao cai, local guide & driver will waiting you at the exit gate of Lao cai train with a sign board written your name then transfer you go up hill to Sapa town, where we arranged breakfast and shower places for you before start your trekking tour.

Trekking from Sapa to the Black H’mong village of Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai where excellent panoramas of the larger valley, paddy terraced fields and the H’mong village are offered. We take a small local path leading into the bottom of the valley, where some stalls are available that serve tea and fruits; a perfect spot to take a rest and have lunch. After lunch you will visit the Zay people of Ta Van, which lies in the middle of the Muong Hoa valley.

DAY 9 SAPA, OFF THE BEATEN TRACK (BAN KHOANG & TA GIANG PHINH)

Met up at your hotel in Sapa by local guide and driver for a short road transfer heading northwards of Sapa along national road 4C to O Quy Ho with several stops for magnificent landscapes of Fansipan, Sin Chai valley and especially amazing flower and vegetable farms. Then turn right to follow a narrow road for half an hour getting through the wild region with thick rain forest covering walled-up mountains, passing several waterfalls before arriving to Ban Khoang, a village of the Red Zao ethnic peoples who live their unique way of life and well maintain their traditional values. The village looks prosperous thanks to the combination of wet rice cultivation on the terraced fields with cardamom farming under the shade of trees in thick forest. Spend over an hour walking to explore this remote village for a brief understanding of local life. Leaving Ban Khoang and process along the road for about 10km to Ta Giang Phinh valley inhabited by the Black Hmong who live in some small villages scattering along a peaceful stream.

Enjoy an hour lunch break on the bank of a stream before walking along village path which connects village to village to witness daily activities of local life such as plough and harrow the fields, growing, harvesting or doing some house work. In leisure months men often gather to built new houses or repair parts of old ones while women stay home making their traditional costumes. The walk ends in mid afternoon, picked up for the road ride back to Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 10 SAPA - DRIVE BACK TO HANOI

8:00 am, driver pick up and drive to Hanoi via Lao Cai – Hanoi. Arriving Hanoi around 2:30 pm (Drop off at airport or your hotel).

DAY 11 DEPARTURE Transfer to Noi Bai International airport for your onward departure.
